As you get more accustomed to IF you can move from the 12/12 fast window to the 16/8 fast window which requires you to fast for much longer and allocates you a shorter feed window of eight hours. The 16/8 fast window is more commonly adapted and can yield very good results in weight loss and weight management along with other health benefits such as low risk of type 2 diabetes, reduced risk of chronic health conditions, improved brain health, reduced risk of cancer etc.

 

 

20/4 Fast Window 

 

The 20/4 fast window also know as the “warrior diet” is one of the more extreme forms of intermittent fasting it requires you to fast for 20 hours and only allocates you a four hour feed window.  This form of intermittent fast is not easy and is quite extreme and demands a lot of discipline.
